Adonai Roi Congregation is opening a weekly Dugit Live evening in Dugit Outreach Center and we value your prayer and support as we launch this new venture. Local believers will come to play and Israelis will be invited to come and listen to the music, have a free cup of coffee and refreshments. Would you like to partner with us in prayer as we realize this vision? Your financial support would also be greatly appreciated since we are relying upon God to provide the added expenses of running the cafe. Our vision is to provide a place for non-believers to come and interact with us. Israelis love ‘Gospel Music’ and we are expecting great things!

Turning a Bomb-Shelter into a Youth Center

2005-07 youth room table tennis

We are praising the Lord for our youth! In our April newsletter we told you how God answered their prayers and provided a Bomb-shelter rent-free! Since then, they have transformed a dark, dusty, bomb shelter into a light, bright, friendly place where they can fellowship, worship and bring their friends. With your help we have purchased a Table Tennis Table and a DVD player and TV. The kids even worked with a local carpenter to build themselves a stage. They borrowed musical instruments and sound equipment for a time of worship but we would love to get them their own equipment so they can have regular worship events. If you have it on your heart to invest in the youth of Israel we are looking for $4000 to help our youth fulfil the vision they have in their hearts for this center. We are so proud of them, they truly want to live out their faith in Messiah Yeshua.

Serving our Soldiers

We now have eight active duty soldiers, male and female serving in the military in various positions who need your prayer. We have recently seen the number of our soldiers rise as 3 of our youth have come of age (18 yrs old) and started their mandatory 36 months of military service. To meet this need we are beginning to plan events for them that will meet their fellowship needs. Most of our soldiers are on bases were they are the only believers and these bases are too far from their families and congregations for them to get the kind of spiritual nourishment they need. One way of meeting this need is to utilize their time off (usually one weekend a month, possibly two) and providing them with a forum for them to fellowship, study the Bible and worship together. We are interested in helping our soldiers in other ways, including: sending them care-packages, organizing weekend retreats, and joining with other organizations that help our soldiers. Most importantly, we are trying to be in constant communication with our young soldiers and ministering to them, primarily by phone. We need you to stand with us in prayer for our soldiers. It is important that we pray for their protection, not just physically, but spiritually as well. Some are serving in dangerous places, where their lives are at risk. Other are away from family and fellowship for the first time in their lives and we need to pray that their faith continues to remain strong and that they are bright beacons shining in their units. Will you join us in this important prayer mission?
